Young Children Picture Composition for Class 10 ICSE
Young Children are the father of Tomorrow. India is a large country, with a huge and poor population. However, all the luxuries and due to the scientific and technological advances are affordable only by a privileged few.
The majority of the population still lacks health-care, education and, most important of all, a meal a day.
We hear cases of people dying of hunger, farmers committing suicide because how are unable to pay their debts, and of various diseases which are still prevalent in India like polio, tuberculosis etc. It is rightly said that poverty is a curse. Even the basic necessities of life like two square meals a day, clothing and shelter, are just a dream for hundreds of people in India even today.
In most cases, children are forced to work to supplement the family income. Sometimes they are hired out as beggars or even sold. Young children are sent to distant places to work and earn a living. Such young children, who are too young to even look after themselves, are forced to work for eight to ten hours a day.
Despite living through such hardships and misery, we can still see the happiness on the faces of these little children whose childhood goes in looking after their little brother and sisters while their parents do manual labour. We often see young girls of six or seven taking great care of their younger siblings.
They share even the smallest of their things with their younger brothers and sisters. At present, there is construction work going on in our school and there are several children of the labourers who play in u grounds. Once a teacher gave some packets of biscuits to some of the children both of them first gave the biscuits to the younger ones and then ate themselves :
They, who were barely five or six years old, had younger brother and sisters. I realized that though they are poor and illiterate they are far better than many ways. They are the ones who know the actual meaning of life.
Though the government doing a lot for the poor children, in many ways. Much more is still left to hope that in the years to come these children might be able to have a better life for them. I hope that in the years to come these children might be able to have a better life for themselves.
